Recently, I was honored to be invited to the Second Annual Fundraising Book Signing for the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, in New York. We were six authors, presenting our book and reading excerpts, signing copies and meeting readers.
All proceeds will go to help a maternity care in Senegal and a day care center in Brazil. Thank you Ines Rodriguez for inviting me!
The event was a big success, an opportunity for me to meet other writers and help while doing what I love.
Giving back to the community has always been one of my goals. Remember, No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted” (Aesop) !
